Colorado Division of Criminal Justice releases crime and justice compendium covering 10 years of criminal justice data and trends

(Dec. 17, 2020) -- The Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) within the Colorado Department of Public Safety has released “Crime and Justice in Colorado: 2009-2019,” a report that compiles data from dozens of sources to provide a comprehensive portrait of crime and criminal justice in Colorado. 

Members of DCJ’s Office of Research and Statistics gathered, analyzed, and presented data on a wide range of adult and juvenile criminal justice topics, including:

CBI InstaCheck Preps for Black Friday 2020

(November 24, 2020)—The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) InstaCheck Unit is preparing for the upcoming holiday buying season, and particularly Black Friday, which is traditionally the busiest day of the year for the unit.

State Launches Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign

(Nov. 16, 2020) - The State of Colorado is launching a human trafficking public awareness campaign designed to make people stop and think. The multiyear campaign aims to increase awareness about many forms of human trafficking and promote a statewide culture that does not tolerate human trafficking.
