Join Us in Remembering Murder Victims on Sept. 25

(September 16, 2021) - The National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims is commemorated each year on September 25.  This day gives us the opportunity to remember and honor those lost to homicide and their surviving family members. Join the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA) in honoring the memories of lives lost to violence and acknowledge the impact of murder on families and communities including ways to support and serve survivors. The event will end with a procession for attendees to remember their loved ones.

Howard and Polli Small will share the life of their son Ethan Small and the impact of the support they've received after his tragic death.  The event will end with a procession to remember loved ones.  The event is free and open to the public.

Date: Saturday, September 25, 2021

Time: 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Location: Rose Andom Center, 2nd Floor Training Room, 1330 Fox St., Denver, CO

Parking is available in the Rose Andom Center garages. Street parking is also available along 13th or 14th Avenues as well as Elati and Delaware Streets.

Speakers:

  • Michelle Adams, an attorney and community leader, will emcee the event
  • Phil Clark, President of the Front Range Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children, will give welcoming remarks
  • Howard and Polli Small honoring the life of their son Ethan Small and the impact of the support they received after his tragic and unnecessary death
  • The event will end with a procession by attendees to remember their loved ones
