(Dec. 20, 2019) Colorado Governor Jared Polis invites you to join him for a conversation with criminal justice stakeholders from our entire state to discuss the future of criminal justice in Colorado. Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Public Safety will host "Colorado Justice Systems Forum: Working Together Toward an Improved Criminal Justice System" on March 4 and 5, 2020, in Westminster, Colo.

This free conference will feature practitioner presentations, breakout sessions, and a keynote speech by Governor Polis.

Call for Presentations

The state of Colorado is seeking presentations, workshops and facilitated discussions for the forum. Presentations should relate to these four primary pillars of reform:

  • Recidivism
  • Sentencing Strategies
  • Detention Decision-Making
  • Juvenile Involvement.

The event will feature two 90-minute plenary session presentations and up to 12 break-out session presentations or workshops. Breakout sessions will last 90 minutes each and will consist of either a facilitated workshop or a presentation followed by facilitated discussion.
