Conference Addresses Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and Intervention at Schools

(Sept. 2, 2016) On Thursday, Sept. 29, the Colorado Department of Public Safety's School Safety Resource Center will host a one-day conference on preventing and intervening in child sexual abuse at schools.

The 2016 Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and Intervention Conference will feature presentations by experts on a variety of topics that are critical for school administrators, mental health workers and other adults responsible for the safety of children in our schools. The conference costs $50 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Although targeted to educators, mental health workers and law enforcement, members of the public and media are welcome to attend.
