(Sept. 25, 2018) Positive, critical, or anything in between, the Colorado State Patrol wants to hear from you. Starting September 24 and going until November 6, the CSP is holding a public opinion survey and asking people to tell us how they really feel.
"Being visible and engaging our communities are top priorities for our organization‚" said Colonel Matt Packard, Chief of the Colorado State Patrol. "We value the opinions, thoughts, and feelings of the people we serve. If there is a way we can improve, we want to know what that is. We welcome all feedback."
Conducted by an independent third party, the CSP holds the public opinion survey every two years to gauge how the public views the performance, safety, and efforts of the agency across the state. This feedback is collected and reported to not only the State Patrol but the public as well, with an anticipated release of information in January 2019.
"Transparency is key for a good working relationship and customer service‚" Packard said. "We sincerely appreciate the time people will take to help us improve."
The survey can be found at: www.CSPSurvey.com and participants should anticipate about five minutes to complete it. The link can also be found on the CSP website, Twitter accounts, Facebook page, and Instagram account. People interacting with troopers will receive a "contact card" with the web address. Additionally, multiple participants and those that help share the link using the hashtag #CSPValuesMyOpinion will be entered to win various prizes. All survey results are confidential and anonymous.
