Hearing Details
The purpose of this hearing is to adopt proposed amended rules.
The amended rules update the time frame to render a final administrative decision for appeals of denial decisions (§ CBI-IC-3), delete an obsolete provision in the background check hours of operation (§ CBO-IC-6), update the title of the administrator of this rule’s public point of contact (§ CBI-IC-9), and correct minor formatting and grammatical errors to better align the rules with statute.

Comments may be submitted in advance of the hearing to CBI Deputy Director Raymond Butler, CBI Assistant Director Ross Sibley, or CDPS Rules Administrator, Christine Moreno. Comments will also be welcome during the hearings. The deadline for prehearing comments and questions is Thursday, April 11, 2024 by 5:00pm MDT.
