The Colorado Department of Public Safety will hold a virtual rulemaking hearing regarding new rules for the Missing and Indigenous Persons Alert Program (8 CCR 1507-36).
Colorado Senate Bill 22-150 directed the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to operate a Missing Indigenous Alert Program and mandated that the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Public Safety promulgate rules and regulations to implement the Missing Indigenous Persons Alert Program. This hearing will be to present and receive public feedback on proposed new rules for this new program.
